Abrasive Index Machine

Sampling Preparation Equipment

The Abrasive Index Machine has been designed to test coal sample abrasiveness on 4 steel blades of a known hardness.

The machine is designed to conform to AS 1038.19 and BS 1016 and ensures product/sample handling is minimised. The grinding chamber is fitted with “O” ring seals which reduces dust emission.

The 415 volt powered motor is controlled through a simple controller. A start button is employed which means that  no re-sets are required.

A full set of spare parts are kept in stock by Wallerby Mining Products and all blades are supplied with a hardness certificate.
